The slow timeless tension and force of tectonics and the rhythms of nature appear at many scales. ‘Creak Beneath Creak’ tries to show this constant presence by looking close. These photos show moments captured in stone; fractions through time but also the moments of exposure. The repetitive motion of the waves shown in winter and summer show the constance of the forces that mould and break and pushing through the space, audio streamed live from underneath the Antarctic ice connect the works together.
